Mike Banom

Mike Banom is a photographer and producer living and working in New York City. He graduated from Pratt Institute in 2011 with a BFA in Communications Design and a concentration in motion graphics and web design & development. Post graduation Mike continued his education at the School of Visual Arts where he transitioned his focus from design to front-end dev.

Mike has a passion for a range of photography from studio / commercial work to street photography – which is his favorite way to explore the city. He has a technical approach to shoots and post-production.

Mike runs a YouTube channel where he reviews gear, discusses techniques, and more, and outside of the creative space, you’ll find him at the gym as he is a state record-holding powerlifter.
